A formal call for proposals from students, faculty and staff of The Ohio State University College of the Arts will be issued each spring quarter for the following academic year. Smaller proposals for events and research projects are always welcomed throughout the year and will be considered as the availability of the EMMA space and resources allow. The review committee prioritizes proposals that integrate the body and technology and that take advantage of the capabilities of the facility and/or involve interdisciplinary collaboration.
In two short years The EMMA Lab has already been host to more than 1000 audience members from the University and surrounding communities and has made possible new research activities and intermedia learning experiences for more than 100 students in dance, visual art, theater, and beyond.
