Video Installation Pre-visualization

Researcher: Carrie Wilson, Design

Carrie Wilson used Max and Jitter to help previsualize multiple projections in theater / installation spaces.

For the play Sleep Deprivation Chamber and for Jean Haluska's MFA performance Interior/Other, virtual environments were created in which virtual projection surfaces could be positioned relative to one another. Video clips could then be played in the virtual projections so that the designers could experiment with placement, scale, and timing of projected material.
