iQ2.5

iQ2.5 is Vicon's latest addition to its software to create more accuracy and reliablity. iQ2.5 allows for quicker and better marker solutions, and in many cases alleviates the burden on marker cleaning. iQ2.5 causes the system to always be running in realtime, speeds up calibration procedures, and allows for far superior marker reconstruction.

Workstation

Workstation is the motion capturing software that Vicon supplied with the system. It facilitates the calibration of the cameras, the calibration of the subjects, the capturing of the data, and the labeling of the data. Within this program markers sets are developed as well as the autolabeling capabilities. Workstation also allows you to fix labeling issues, including crossover markers and filling the gaps.

Motion Builder 7.5

Motion Builder 7.5 is an application from Alias which is designed for both computer graphics and broadcasting. Motion Builder 7.5 allows for the integration of 3D, video and audio sources, and camera positional information in one package. The software contains models which are easily mapped to the Vicon data for realtime viewing of the motion capture data. Motion Builder 7.5 can also output data which can be read by Maya. The application is also a non-linear editing suite, so a finished production for video distribution is also possible.
