A
Clue in the Shadows
The left photo
shows the equinox sun rise. Note the "indent" in the shadow.
The center image shows
the east slab in (1978?) and the right image in (1984?). A chunk of stone
has broken loose from the
edge of the slab. This missing chunk casts the indent in the shadow.

Render comparisons with the 1983-morphed model shows that the eastern
slab must have been higher
against the cliff wall than in 2005.
2005 model (left image) is too low.
Center image is the 1983-morphed model. The indentation is approx. the
correct height, but too far left.
The right image is 1983-morphed with an offset of slab 2cm (0.79 inch)
to the north.
The shadow line matches features in the cracks near the top of the
image as well as the broken areas
near the bottom.
How does this adjustment affect the other light markings?...
