If Motion Capture is NOT working, try this trick: Close the Motion Capture Window Go to: File> Capture> Movie Capture In the Movie Capture Window, under the Preferences Section, click: EDIT In the Preferences Window, under Scratch Disks, change the Captured Movies to: Select Folder (by default, it should take you directly to your Documents Folder) Click Choose Close the Preferences by clicking: OK Click the RECORD button once (at the bottom of the window) And then click it again to stop recording Save the file with something like: temp or junk Close the Movie Capture Window Now try: File> Capture> Stop Motion If the above process does not work, try these steps: 1. Quick Premiere and Restart 2. Make sure that the camera is ON and it is RECORDING 3. Check the FireWire Cable (is it plugged in?) |
