|tokyo| sound strives to make audible the modulations of visual perception.

The sound design includes a musical and an "environment" score. Both relate to the spaces of |tokyo|: the music attaches to the fantastical/narrative location while the soundscape adheres to the concepts of viewing dimension that built |tokyo|.

The music finds its way into the piece as simply another element in the set by being played locally. It refers to the story level of the piece, supporting a blend of people and time in space. As such, it plays on a small stereo to inhabit the set rather than to project outside of this bubble into the audience's traditional domain.

|tokyo|'s virtual territory (3d cgi) has a breath that the soundscape translates into audible form. The changing sound maps motion and distance, relating these to the audience as tools for creating visual dimension.
