Assignment 4 - "High-Level" Animation Control
Due: Tuesday, February 11th, before class
- Create a "model" with modeling and animation avars
- At least one of the avars should influence multiple attributes
(for example, the "squash" avar which effects x-scale, y-scale, and z-scale)
- It must be something other than a squash avar.
- Something else should move as a non-avar function of time.
- The camera should be still. Put the motion in the scene.
- No default black backgrounds.
- Create a 320x242 or 160x121 animation of around 90+ frames, showing the
animated model.
- The animation should be continuous when looped, meaning the end flows
cleaning back into the beginning.
- Remember to work in wireframe, with lower resolution images (160x121),
only rendering every Nth frame, before moving up to shaded,
full rez images.
- Render one of the frames at 640x484 and hand it in as a jpeg:
"hw4-mlewis-jpg"
- Submit the AL file that produced the animation: "hw4-mlewis-al"
- Submit the animation as a quicktime movie with a .mov extension: "hw4-mlewis.mov"
- Place the files in the HW4 directory in ~mlewis/Class/Homework.
- Make sure the files' permissions are set world readable.
- Sound is optional but greatly encouraged.
