Multi-User Interface Research
The DNA Workbench Project involved the development of an educational DNA simulation that could be controlled by multiple participants through a multi-touch interface. The project was developed under the supervision of Alan Price and others at the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design. The DNA Workbench was temporarily on display at COSI, the Columbus Area Center of Science and Industry. After the table was returned to ACCAD this study, involving 15 students, was conducted to identify unique design problems that can be considered for interfaces that will be used by multiple people simultaneously.
