Homework 4 Programming concepts and applications for artists and designers This interface is part of a generative design research study. This study explores potential uses of gesture within gesture-based interaction schemas. During this study participants will be presented with a series of image sequences that they will be asked to respond to. After being presented with a sequence of images participants will be able to view a loop of a specific part of the sequence and asked to produce a gesture that expresses the action described by the looping image sequence. It is important that the images are presented to each participant in a different order so that inaccurate patterns of use do not emerge. For this study an interface will be designed so that the image sequences are presented in a random order. This involved random selection of a sequence and then the selection of random videos from a sequentially shrinking list until all un-viewed videos.
