Metavolve
I've been working on a generic interactive evolutionary design
environment. I'm trying to get everything working in Houdini, but some of
the older stuff below also uses Maya, Perl with BMRT/Prman, and Perl with
Q3Radiant.
Here's a paper (4.4meg pdf) on the
Houdini implementation.
It was presented in Milan at Generative Art 2000.
