Assignment #2: Low-polygon modeling
Here is an image gallery of the southern wall:
The above two images are of the two ends of the wall - which has seen a number of items attached to it over the 93 years it has existed in various forms. Below is a slightly more detailed image of the eastern portion of the wall - and you can begin to get a feel for the amount of "stuff" that has been attached to the wall. Electrical conduits, water drainage pipes, old support columns (one of which has been painted blue), pin-up boards, patching of the brickwork (the ceiling in this room used to be only one story high - when the school of Architecture moved in, this room was completely renovated), etc.
Here are some straight-on shots of portions of the wall.

Part of the plan for getting this texture information onto the model for the next assignment will be in faking multi-level textures to some degree. Vast segments of the wall are simple gray brick - which can be applied very easily. Lights, conduit, brick patching, and other signs are all variations to that pattern - and will have to be dealt with accordingly. The following two images show some of these exceptions - including one that will have to be modelled rather than textured, because of the amoung of profile it gives the wall.

Finally, here is a profile of the "sound roof" over one of the pinup boards.
