Scott (Seok Bo) Shim

Born in Seoul, Korea, Scott Shim received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois - Chicago.

His experience in the design field includes various activities in design firms. At Beyond Design, Inc. he was actively involved in all phases of design and development for new consumer products including concept sketches, presentation renderings and ergonomic studies. At Schafer Associates, Inc., he gained experience in retail and exhibit design.

Scott earned a Master of Arts Degree in Design Development while working as a graduate teaching assistant at The Ohio State University. His research focus was on ergonomic evaluation on load bearing handles.

He is currently working as a designer at Daewoo Electronics in Seoul, Korea.
