challenge

  1. send me an email from your preferred account so i'll know where you'd like to have your class email sent.
  2. open flash and practice the following simple skills:
    • moving, opening and closing panels and dividers.
    • locating the stage and the timeline and selecting frames
    • creating keyframes and making a sequence of drawn graphics across several frames (frames: F5 / SHFT-F5, keyframes: F6 / SHFT-F6)
    • testing the movie and closing the preview (test: CTRL-ENTER, close: CTRL-w)
    • adding code to a frame by selecting the keyframe and typing in the actions panel: trace("hello");
    • testing the movie and seeing the trace output in the output panel
    • rearranging the environment to your liking, and saving the panel layout (Window > Workspace > Save Current)
