01: simple shape

goal

Create your first vrml file, patterned the example from class:
Instead of copying and pasting, type the code into vrmlpad by hand, to get familiar with the auto-completion system. Substitute a geometry primitive node of your choice (Cone, Cylinder, Sphere) for Box in the example.

requirements

Experiment with changing field values; try: Practice further using the mouse and keyboard to zoom, pan, or tumble the shape.

criteria

your grade will be one of:
100 shape displays with no errors and code is different than example given
77 code was written but problems exist, or is same as example
0 nothing was done

submission

create a web page called task01.html that embeds your vrml file. Copy task01.html and all associated files to a folder named task01 in your class directory in your home area.  Pay attention to capitalization in file and directory names.  Test the link from the student work web page and make sure there are no problems. Make sure your vrml file will work correctly on the machine we will be using in class.
