in order to properly communicate wayfinding principles that could be used within the thesis book moderations I will be spending the entire next quarter on reverse wayfinding and this is now an exercise focusing on guidance.

the space contains three objects. easy to find by using a guidance technique- this uses both geometry and texture to identify the next location to be.

lastly, because I had rushed the design intent of the original space without going through full procedures (adjacencies, flow, etc), it was not as functional and aesthetically pleasing as originally assumed. (it looked real ugly and cheesy.)

The layout will consist of a two level design that shows wayfinding techniques. The first will be guidance (architecture guiding the navigator to the next level.) The second will be reverse wayfinding (using guidance to mislead the navigator into the wrong area).

Goals: Make Maria Palazzi understand wayfinding and get a good grade.

Schedule:

week 1- complete all collision work, final design construction, and begin UVs.

week 2- finish UV's and lighting.

week 3- complete lighting
