Ernie: A Photographer's Memoir

I took so many pictures of Ernie that at some point he understood that when I had the camera in my hands, he was supposed to do something. One thing he did often was pose for me while lying on his back, then he would roll left, then roll right. Many of the pictures in the book are dominated by black tonalities. This allowed Ernie's white markings to really pop.
