Lab Day: Setup and Capture

Assignment 1 due April 27

iQ Data Cleaning:
Copy PracticeData folder from Class folder to your home area
1. Reconstruct and Label T-pose files for Zach and Stick. Create .vsk files. (vst files are provided inside the session folder)
2. Reconstruct, Label and Fill Gaps as much as possible in 3 trials of your choice (no more than one walk trial is allowed, Trial005 (zach with stick) is required).

Capture Planing Document (can be submitted before 04/27 to schedule a capture)

- Number performers
- Performance space needs (location, size and function of unmarkered props)
- Description and Length of shots (particular emphasis on interaction)
- Shots to be blended or looped
- Description of captured props (provide photos or sketches with planned marker locations ( a minimum of three markers per prop is required))
- Gross proportional differences
- VST file for each prop

Vicon iQ2 for Initial Data Processing

1. On Flounder, Fresco or any computer in the Mocap lab:
Program Files/Motion Capture/Vicon iQ2.0

2. Eclipse/Open Database, Browse to find the .enf file in the desired Database folder, Open....

3. Switch to Data Management, Right Click on V file to open

4. Use these instructions to reconstruct the 3d data

5. Run Delete Unlabelled Trajectories pipeline operation to get rid of noise markers appearing for less then 10 frames.

6. Label the markers.

Marker Locations for Standard Human Subject - Front and Back.

7. Use these steps to label markers and create a .vsk.
