Visiting scholars, artists, alumni and performers will converge at ACCAD for classes, presentations, discussions and research collaborations. We will consider well-being and how a multitude of factors—family, work, technology, community involvement, and more—inform and influence one's state of well-being. We are seeking to create better futures via technology that is responsive to how humans learn, think, and create. As a coummnity, we hope to engender "care (that) is attention in action." Joining us on this exploration throughout 2018 are our lead partners:  Design, Dance and ACCAD (Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design), Champion Intergenerational Center (Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Social Work). We are also joined by contributing faculty and students from Design, Dance, Music, Theater, Engineering, Architecture, Spanish and Portuguese, English, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Nursing, Medicine, Social Work and ACCAD..
