Taylor Olsen

Graduate Research Associate

Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Taylor is exploring the relationship between traditional Animation practices and using programming to enhance the passive experience of watching time-based media. He received his bachelor's degree in Digital Arts and Design with a Specialization in Animation (as well as a minor in Computer Graphics) from Dakota State University in Madison, SD.

He has worked with Design and Animation programs ranging from 2D to 3D Graphics, and has experience with motion graphics, commercial broadcasting and advertising, as well as storytelling and narrative. Taylor currently works as a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Design.
