The sculpture below was the first large (~33x23x14cm) 3d printed form
I've made. It was created for the Gesture at Large conference and
art show. I was presenting a survey talk on the space of gesture
technologies, so I made a concept map from my notes. I mapped the
concept graph into a 3D spring system then grew a structure around it
with an implicit surface. A voronoi process then minimized
material usage and revealed internal spaces.
