Ryan English graduated wtih an MFA from the OSU Design department in 2010. He is now a faculty member at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota where he is teaching 3D computer graphics. While at Ohio State, Ryan specialized in 3D computer animation and visualization at ACCAD. In between OSU and DSU, Ryan worked in the animation industry on such films as: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Happy Feet, The Golden Compass, Chronicle, Alvin and the Chipmunks, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Pixels, and Hotel Transylvania 2. Ryan's Thursday 10:30 a.m. talk is free and open to the public. While at OSU/ACCAD, Ryan will also provide a "rigging" workshop for animation students and offer a portfolio reviews on Friday, February 16th.
