Skye Winters received their BS in Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in Game Studies from The Ohio State University in 2024. They worked as a Undergraduate Researcher for the AIMS Lab on a variety of Augmented Reality projects built in the Unity Game Engine as well as assisted with the development of a 3D physics-accurate blacksmith game utilizing the JAX-FEM deformation simulator. In their research, they hope to explore ways to incorporate better accessibility practices into the emerging field of Spatial Computing. Additionally, they wish to explore how to use the mediums of Virtual and Augmented reality to create more immersive narrative experiences. In their free time, they can be found studying various forms of dance ranging anywhere from Ballroom to Contemporary to West Coast Swing.
