Project Description

In 3MPH, students from the Media In Performance course expanded their classroom work to create an evening length moving installation as a Senior Project for Distinction in Dance. This self-produced show explored themes of displacement and connection to place in the moment of transition from one place/time in life to another. All three works rigorously explored the possibilities of intermedia performance to engulf the audience, draw connections between inner and outer spaces, and create compelling stage environments in which personal stories can unfold.
