Brenda Chapman, the first woman to direct an animated feature for a Hollywood studio, was invited by Dave Filipi, to screen the film, “The Prince of Egypt”. The breakthrough DreamWorks animation is celebrating it’s 25^th anniversary. The Wexner Center Film/Video theater hosted the screening with a reception and Q&A on Thursday, Sept 28^th. ACCAD was pleased to co-sponsor Brenda’s visit.

Thursday morning before the film event, an intimate group of students, faculty and staff enjoyed a Q&A with Brenda. Brenda offered a genuine and honest discussion about the animation industry, provided enlightenment about pursuing this career and graciously responded to thoughtful questions from those attending.
