Nina Wolf is an Akron, OH native and recently graduated in May 2023 from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design and a Minor in Sustainability Studies. While her professional practice has focused on branding and marketing design, her undergraduate studies allowed her to explore a variety of design approaches—including user experience and interface design, participatory design, speculative design, and sustainable design.

Nina decided to pursue an MFA in Design Research and Development at OSU to build upon her design and research skills and help in her career goal of becoming a UX Researcher in healthcare. While at OSU, Nina plans to investigate how to improve women's healthcare. In particular, she is interested in exploring how technology can support women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in managing their symptoms and seeking treatment.

Outside of her research and design practice, Nina's hobbies include hiking and kayaking, trying new recipes, reading mystery novels (usually by Ruth Ware!), and spending time with her loved ones—especially her rescue dog, Suede!
