Spring semester 2016, Alice Grishchenko, a 3rd year MFA candidate in Design spent Thursday after school hours with young women at the Columbus Metro High School. Alice was been teaching them to create their own computer art using the software program, Processing. Processing comes with a little piece of software that will run code in a java app window. Alice added that she's benefited from seeing the girls positive reception to software coding. Funding for the after school program was awarded by "The Women's Fund of Central Ohio."
